Of course, the whole situation somehow seems bizarrely fitting of Charlie Sheen. It all started with his ex-wife Brooke Mueller, with whom he has two sons.
Mueller was hospitalized in order to receive a mental evaluation after she supposedly hit her twin sons Bob and Max (7) while she was outside a car wash. Furthermore, she allegedly got in a fight with her nanny at a bar while she was noticeably missing her shoes.
Charlie Sheen isn’t normally the most adept at handling bad situations, so we’re not really sure what to make of his attempt at helping the problem. He released this poem about the situation to People magazine:
In the face of a roughshod and polar moment of unsanctioned divide
sanity and certainty were restored with grace and resolve.
Immeasurable gratitude and love
to a fellow yeoman of the apocalypse;
Sir Michael from that hamlet called Walters
need accept each and every Crimson palm-sting
as high fives rain upon his bitchen nobility
not just from this traveler
but from his safe and stable brood as well…
We particularly like his use of the word “bitchen”–it really adds to the poeticism of the whole piece.
Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller were married in 2008 and divorced just two years later. Mueller has struggled on and off with substance abuse and mental health issues, and for the time being, her and Charlie Sheen’s two sons have been placed in the care of their nanny.
A source added that Mueller had gone off her medications, which is why the strange outburst happened to begin with, but she is currently being treated to deal with the issues.
