Let’s all just agree that Chris Brown is an awful person. Okay? Okay.
Now that we’ve cleared that up, let’s get into the details. Brown’s former manager Mike G (whose real name is Michael Guirguis) has filed a lawsuit against the rapper about an incident that occurred on May 10, 2016.
The lawsuit states that Brown physically attacked Mike G in a fit of anger. “Days before Brown was set to leave for a much-anticipated and highly lucrative European tour, Brown turned his (drug-fueled) rage on Mike G. What Mike G assumed would be a run-of-the-mill conversation about the upcoming tour turned into Brown shutting Mike G alone into a room with him and brutally attacking him–punching him four times in the face and neck,” the lawsuit statement reads.
Mike G had to go to the hospital after the attack and still fears Brown having another outburst.
The manager’s attorney, Patty Glaser, has stated that they tried to keep things away from the press. “We did everything we could to resolve this in a non-public way to avoid damage to Chris Brown. Regrettably, as outlined in our complaint, Chris Brown has proven to be his own worst enemy,” Glaser said.
