Funny Or Die’s ‘Transgender Bathroom Song’ Gets Serious About Toilet Time

When it comes down to the nitty gritty, Funny or Die doesn’t shy away from getting into the grotesque details. In one of their latest videos, “The Transgender Bathroom Song – When I Unzip My Fly,” the internet team’s talented musicians get down to business by discussing what the real issues are behind bathroom separation laws.

Don’t take our word for how serious their arguments are. Check out the video here:

The video comes in the wake of North Carolina bill making people use the restroom that matches the gender they were assigned to at birth. As the Funny or Die video represents, the real thing at issue is who will be in the stall or at the urinal next to you when you’re trying to do your business.

“Transgender Bathroom Song” stars Michael Kayne, who is known for his work at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City. He’s been part of the UCB troupes ASSSSCAT, What I Did For Love and Baby Wants Candy.
