If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late: Drake Drops Unannounced Album on iTunes; Streaming Platforms

It’s the era of the surprise albums. Back in the day new album releases from a major artist would be advertised just about everywhere: TV late night appearances, radio interviews, billboards ads, posters plastered on the walls by your subway stop etc. etc. etc. The list goes on and on.

But since the success of Beyoncé’s surprise release “Beyonce” (2013), the game has changed. The excitement generated on social media is more than enough, for artists that have something to say, to drive their fans to iTunes, Spotify or SoundCould to start voraciously streaming or downloading new (digital) albums.

Drake has done exactly that. The “Started At The Bottom Now We Here” singer released a 16-song mix tape the aptly titled “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.”

By now, you’ve had the weekend to start digging into the tracks, if not, start jamming this on SoundCloud or download this on iTunes.
