Taylor Swift has reached a stage in her career where she seems absolutely unstoppable.
That’s not stopping Katy Perry from attempting to one-up Swift’s “Bad Blood” with an even better diss, in the form of a song co-written with John Mayer.

It’s just a rumor, but it’s one too juicy to ignore. T-Swift has feuded with both John Mayer and Katy Perry in the past, so who knows what could happen when the two victims of TayTay’s sharp pen join forces. Here’s a history of the feuds:
*May 2009: Mayer releases “Half of My Heart,” a duet with Swift.
*February 2010: Rumors begin flying about a relationship between Swift and Mayer after Swift allegedly enters Mayer’s hotel suite.
*October 2010: Taylor releases “Dear John” as an album track off of her album Speak Now. For obvious reasons, it’s assumed that the song is about John Mayer.
*2011: Three backup dancers who had previously toured with Katy Perry successfully audition to join Taylor’s Red Tour.
*2012: Katy’s team makes an offer to those same three dancers to go back on tour with her. They agree to leave Swift for Perry.
*Early 2012: Katy and John begin to date.
*June 2012: Mayer states that “Dear John” was “humiliating.”
*June 2013: Numerous clues indicate that Mayer’s single “Paper Doll” (from his album Paradise Valley) is a dig at Taylor.
*December 2013: Mayer releases “Who You Love,” featuring and co-written by Katy Perry.
*March 2014: Perry and Mayer break up.
*September 2014: Taylor tells Rolling Stone that she’s written a new song about another female pop star, saying “We’re just straight-up enemies,” and “It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.”
*September 2014: Immediately after Taylor’s interview is published, Katy Perry tweets, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing…”
*May 2015: Mayer and Perry get back together.
*”Bad Blood” shoots to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with some help from a Billboard Music Awards performance and a star-studded video.
*May 2015: Rumors fly that Katy and John are collaborating on a diss song about Taylor Swift.
What do you think? Will the Perry-Mayer collaboration upstage Swift’s “Bad Blood?”
