On the Late Late Show, things got ultra dramatic with a sketch called “The Bold and the Lyrical.” With dialogue composed entirely of Kanye West lyrics, Bryan Cranston, Giovanni Ribisi and James Corden battle it out for Jessica Biel‘s love.
Lyrics from songs like “Diamonds from Sierra Leone,” “Runaway,” “Gold Digger,” “Monster” and many more make an appearance. The funniest part, however, is probably just how well the lyrics work with this kind of programming. Yes, the love triangle (square?) is pretty goofy, but the drunken ramblings of the different characters give some insight into Kanye West’s mental state when he was writing the songs.
Lucky for the fellas, before any of them can get tied down to Jessica Biel, they realize she’s a gold digger and bail out.
