A sea of music fans packed grant park in Chicago last night to see OutKast perform (August 2) at Lollapalooza. This set just about marked the halfway point for the guys, who signed on to do more than 40 shows this festival season. And while one might think they’d be losing steam, the pair confirmed they’re in this for the long haul.
The guys still got it on the mic — but they’ve also established they’ve got their stage style on lock as well. From Big Boi’s vibrant prints to Andre 3000′s “Sold Out” tags, the duo are definitely making a fashion statement. But another message being made each night can be found in the form of text on Andre’s (who was was referring to the crowd as “Lollapawinners”) coveralls which, thus far, have changed every show.
