Lady Gaga performed Saturday night with a 20-song set. Naturally, it was jam packed with plenty of choreography, glitz and, of course, Gaga’s incredibly huge voice. As a tribute to Beyonce, who had to cancel her headlining performance due to pregnancy, Gaga performed their collaboration “Telephone.” She took over Beyonce’s rhymes without a hitch.
The biggest surprise came when Gaga debuted her brand new single, “The Cure.” It came about halfway through her set, which was the perfect time to edge in something novel. “The Cure” is already available on iTunes and Spotify, but you can listen to it here now.
Listen to Lady Gaga’s “The Cure”:
It’s kind of a different sound for Gaga, with a bit of a dancehall vibe in the beginning. Once her usual strong vocals take off, though, it sounds more familiar.
Lady Gaga will perform this weekend at the second weekend of Coachella.
