One Direction has been circling the globe, with over fifty stadium shows booked in 2014/15. They kicked off their first of three Los Angeles performances at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena back in September to a massive crowd of shrieking Directioners – just as one would expect.
This wasn’t the typical boy band show – it was light on choreography and the guys skipped around the stage and did their own thing.
Harry Styles, of course, was the most charismatic and playful of the bunch, throwing his water bottle into the crowd numerous times and even eating a banana on stage (hey, bananas are a great source of energy).
1D started the show with “Midnight Memories” and throughout the two hours sang other crowd-pleasers like “What Makes You Beautiful,” “Live While We’re Young,” “Moments,” “Better than Words” and a snippet of their latest release “Fireproof.”
Since their breakout in The X Factor, 1D has been on fire building a massive base of die hard fans that will probably keep supporting them for as long as they keep making music
As they wrap up their 2014 dates, Australia will be ready in February 2015 with shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
