The White House was hosting a number of rappers, including Nicki Minaj, Busta Rhymes, DJ Khaled and J. Cole, in support of Obama’s youth initiative My Brother’s Keeper. The initiative was founded to help young people of color keep their lives on track.
Ross is required to wear an ankle monitor as a condition of his release in a kidnapping case. He was jailed last summer for the second time, the first (a pot bust) being quite minor in comparison.
Reportedly, Ross got into an argument with a man doing some work at one of his houses. He was charged with pistol-whipping as well as kidnapping for not allowing the man to leave the house.Read more about the awkward White House moment:
