Patton asked the court to require that Thicke stay at least 100 yards away from her, their six-year-old son and Patton’s mother. Her attorney Larry Batman submitted the request, which read, “[Patton] is in reasonable apprehension of imminent serious bodily injury to herself and the child.”
The report goes on to describe instances of physical and emotional abuse as well as drug and alcohol addiction. Apparently, Patton caught him making “inappropriate contact” with a masseuse, and when she called him out on it, he became so angry he broke down a door. After that, he pushed her down and kicked her.

Following that incident, the couple attending counseling, where Robin Thicke supposedly admitted to having substance abuse problems. The issues continued until Patton found Thicke in bed with two naked women, at which point they began their divorce proceedings.
