This seems like it has been going on forever, but Dr. Luke is finally no longer the CEO of Sony’s Kemosabe Records. He’s had an ongoing battle going with Kesha, who says he sexually abused her. Until recently, he’s been able to maintain his position.
The Hollywood Reporter obtained court documents that show the changes. Apparently, Kesha filed a counterclaim against Kemosabe. Sony’s legal team responed that Dr. Luke “is no longer the CEO of Kemosabe Records and does not have authority to act on its behalf.”
This probably came as a surprise to Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald. He evidently thought his position was secure, despite the nightmarish allegations against him.
