Taylor Swift & Zayn Malik Team Up for ‘Fifty Shades Darker’

The Fifty Shades series may be getting darker and darker, but the kinky relationship between Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey isn’t the only thing fans are interested in. There’s also a brand spanking new song for Fifty Shades Darker to consider, and it’s done by none other than Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik.

Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik are heating things up.

The pop star and former One Directioner teamed up to create a song for the upcoming Fifty Shades installment and fittingly enough, it is hot, hot, hot! The song is called “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” and it already debuted at number 25 on Billboard‘s Pop Songs radio airplay chart. Go figure–it seems like anything Taylor Swift touches is guaranteed instant media attention.

Maybe that’s the main reason why Swift was picked to make a track for Fifty Shades Darker. She’s not exactly the first person we think of as representative of the whole kinky, sexy, bondage scene. She’s more of the cat-loving, squeaky-clean, sundress-wearing type usually. But hey, her stardom counts for something.

Malik lends some considerable star power to “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” as well. Though he left One Direction in 2015, he’s never going to shake those obsessed fans off his tail. Together with Swift, their new song was bound to be a success.

Combine that with the steaminess of the Fifty Shades franchise, which focuses on the love story between the domineering Christian Grey and the naive, submissive Anastasia Steele, and people are going to get curious.

Though the song doesn’t seem to be available on the internet anywhere at the moment, if you turn on the car radio you’re pretty much guaranteed to hear it within an hour. Which means if you hate Taylor Swift, you may want to avoid the pop stations for a while.
