Apparently no amount of attention money exposure is enough for Taylor Swift. The pop star will be getting her own TV channel, launched by AT&T, and it will air absolutely nothing except Taylor Swift-related content. In other words, if you’re thinking of sinning and want to test-drive what hell will be like, you can now do so by tuning in.
The channel will be part of AT&T’s new DirecTV Now streaming service alongside other cable channels like HGTV and FX. Called Taylor Swift Now, the new channel is perfect for those who need Taylor Swift content, um, now (and to those people we ask, what kind of mental torture are you putting yourselves through and why??).
DirecTV Now is launching today, but the Taylor Swift channel doesn’t have an official release date yet. According to Variety, however, it will include, “videos, concert performances, behind-the-scenes footage and more from Swift’s archives.”
Unfortunately for anyone with eardrums, the singer’s deal relating to the creation of this channel also comes with some other stipulations. Namely, that she’ll be performing at DirecTV’s pre-Super Bowl concert this coming February. At least she didn’t nab the Super Bowl half time show–that might have made half of the United States deaf.

If you’re really desperate to get your hands on more Taylor Swift, it’s fairly simple to check out the new channel. Just sign up for a DirecTV Now package starting at $35 a month for 64 channels with more extensive channel lineups being offered for up to $70 a month. DirecTV Now will be compatible with devices like Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast and more.
There are definitely some redeeming qualities about DirecTV Now, but for all our sakes, try to avoid the Taylor Swift channel.
