Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint just a few days ago, and she’s been criticized by some angry internet commentators for “asking for it” for putting her wealth on display all the time. In an effort to combat the negative effects of the robbery, E! has ceased production on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
“Kim’s well-being is our core focus right now,” a spokesperson for E! News said. “No decision has been made as to when production will resume.”
Variety reached out to E! News to ask if they were filming the show around the time Kim Kardashian was robbed, but the network declined to comment. The 12th season is currently on air, and the Kardashians were in the midst of a three-year deal that runs through 2018.
