The actress has been in Swift’s good graces for some time now, and even scored an invite to the coveted 4th of July bash the pop star throws every year. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Aduba addressed Swift’s feud with Kanye West. The magazine asked if Taylor would get past the bad press.
Aduba replied, “She will. She’s a beautiful person and strong.”
Todrick Hall also spoke up in Swift’s favor, saying, “She’s one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met in my entire life.” He also declared that he was a bit skeptical of Kim Kardashian and Kanye’s actions.
“I like them. But I feel like people should always have the opportunity to defend themselves. To be called on a whim and be asked to be a part of something that you half-know what it is and it’s controversial?” he said. “That’s not the way things should have been approached. It should have never been presented on a phone call in a shady, dark room.”
