Watch: Kanye West Leaks Video Proving Taylor Swift Gave Permission for ‘Famous’

It all started when Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift‘s MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech in 2009. Since then, the pair of music moguls have been at odds almost non-stop.

The most recent source of argumentation between the two was a line in West’s song “Famous.” The lyrics go, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b*tch famous.”

For a long time, West and his wife Kim Kardashian have argued that Swift gave Kanye permission to use the line, while the pop singer has said that’s not the case. However, West’s argument may have just gotten a heck of a lot stronger.

After a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired, during which Kim discussed her feud with Swift, Kim sent out a video on Snapchat which actually shows Kanye speaking with Taylor Swift and getting her permission for the lyrics.

Here’s the video:

The video clearly shows Kanye telling Swift about the line, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex,” with Swift responding that she sees it as a compliment. She also thanks West for actually asking her about it.

After the video was released, Swift argued on Instagram that Kanye never told her about the “that b*tch” line, and that was what she was upset about.

That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet.

Swift may have even more to hold against West because she evidently didn’t know the phone call was being recorded. In California, it’s a crime to record a phone conversation unless both parties are aware of it happening. Insiders have said West always records things related to his album creation and that he isn’t scared of legal repercussions.
