Poor Ticket Sales Contributed to Justin Bieber’s Tour Cancellation

Yet another potential reason for Justin Bieber‘s tour cancellation has surfaced. Previously, people thought it was due to the pop star needing a break. Then, they guessed that his involvement with the church might have something to do with it. Now, it’s looking like there might have actually been financial reasons behind it.

How many Beliebers are enough?

Despite Justin Bieber’s die-hard fans being incredibly die-hard, their numbers may be dwindling. According to Billboard, ticket sales for his world tour were lackluster. Part of that is due to the fact that he has been touring since 2016–a lot of people saw the tour already. Not only that, but he hasn’t released new music since Purpose came out in 2015.

He had 14 shows left on the Purpose World Tour. Of those, only one was sold out.


AEG Presents didn’t even try to push the Biebs to continue. “If the sales were better, we might have pushed a little harder to try and convince him to finish the tour,” a representative said.
